Pharmacological potentials of various substituted benzothiazole derivatives: A mini-review

Abstract: Benzothiazoles were found to possess a broad spectrum of pharmacological activity of clinical importance in the areas of anticancer, antitubercular, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, local anesthetics, hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-microbial, cardiovascular drugs, central dopaminergic agents, and choleretic agents. The substituted Benzothiazoles were found to possess a broad spectrum of pharmacological activity of clinical importance.
