Abstract: Guar gum is a renewable filler which is non-ionic polysaccharide extracted from the endosperm of Cyamopsistetragonalobus. Guar gum derivatives are hydrophilic polysaccharides that dissolve in water; however, to enhance their interaction with the polymer matrix, they must undergo hydrophobic alteration. The Allyl Guar Gum g Poly Acrylic acid (AGG-g-PAA) has been synthesized using the graft co polymerization approach to improve its compatibility with polymer matrix at different filler concentrations (AGGgPA) up to 0.5-4.5 phr. Epoxy polymer resin has been used to cast a composite film along with Allyl Guar Gum g Poly Acrylic acid as a filler. The mechanical properties of the prepared composites with varying concentrations of filler (AGGgPA) have been evaluated by using Universal Testing Machine (UTM) and structural properties and fracture analysis were examined by using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) respectively. It has been noted that the mechanical characteristics of composites have improved with better filler dispersion within the polymer matrix
