Abstract: Everything that is useful to human is present in nature, whether it is related to normal activities or health. In this series, there are some areas which are known for its disease curing water. This is due to the presence of some minerals in this region, which is beneficial for human health. Here it is important to see that the quantity of minerals present in water specifies the water quality and it gives a fixed pH value, ranges around the neutral pH value. It must be seen that the regular use of such type of water cures many types of diseases such as diabetes, gastric, arthritis, skin disorder. Generally, these type of waters are used for drinking, cooking and bathing purpose in local neighborhood. Bathing with this specific water heals tiredness, skin infections and bone or muscle pain. So, many people say that it acts as elixir for human body and no side effect has observed till date. Therefore, it is very much interesting to know about the properties of these waters, like it’s pH value and temperature. Therefore, we have studied the temperature and pH of some hot spring water samples and mountain water of Munger region of Bihar (India). In this article we have presented how the temperature affects pH value of sample waters and we have discussed how these waters affect the human health by long term usage.
